About

My work explores portraiture from a unique perspective. Inspired by Surrealism and the Pre-Raphaelite movements, I aim to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. Specialising within portraiture, I view the body as an art-piece, a canvas, a celebration of nature, and a way to communicate mood, emotion and identity.

Themes of sexuality, queer identity, nature and escapism popularise the work; drawing influences from popular culture and natural elements, I use symbolism and lighting to express various concepts throughout my projects. Alongside my personal projects, my commercial work includes fashion editorials, promotional material and music videos.

My work has been published throughout a variety of magazines and I have exhibited his work within different exhibitions, including the 2024 Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize at the National Portrait Gallery.

Whilst currently active as a freelance photographer, I also a lecturer in Art and Photography. I'm always open to creating new work, collaborations and commissions.
