My work aims to push conventional boundaries within portraiture, transforming the mundane into the extraordinary through a surreal, dreamlike aesthetic. By intentionally blurring the lines between reality and fantasy, I invite you into a visual space that challenges perception and reimagines the familiar.
The body of work is shaped by influences from prominent art movements and artists, including René Magritte, Tim Walker, Andy Warhol, and David LaChapelle, as well as the Pre-Raphaelite, Surrealist, Dada, and Renaissance movements. These inspirations have been instrumental in shaping a style that merges historical and contemporary visual language.
My work often explores themes such as queer identity, sexuality, gender ideologies, popular culture, and escapism. Through these subjects, I aim to connect my own lived experiences and identity with wider social issues.
In addition to my personal practice, I am a Photography lecturer and I am always grateful to collaborate with new creatives, allowing a freedom for the arts whilst dreaming reality. Please feel free to contact me for your projects.
