My work pushes the conventional boundaries of portraiture, transforming the mundane into the extraordinary through a surreal, dreamlike aesthetic. Inspired by artists such as René Magritte, Tim Walker, Andy Warhol, and the Pre-Raphaelite and Surrealist movements, I blur the lines between reality and fantasy, inviting viewers into a safe yet thought-provoking visual journey.
Themes of queer identity, sexuality, gender ideologies, popular culture, and escapism frequently emerge in my work. Through these subjects, I seek to connect my own lived experiences and identity with broader social issues, fostering both personal expression and collective dialogue.
I have been fortunate to have my work published in various magazines, exhibited in multiple shows, and featured in the 2024 Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize at the National Portrait Gallery.
Beyond my personal practice, I am also a photography lecturer and love collaborating with other creatives. I welcome opportunities to explore new ideas and push artistic boundaries—feel free to reach out for potential projects.
